Licensed Drinking Water Operator
The Town of Milton is seeking a Licensed Drinking Water Operator to join our team and ensure the safe and efficient operation of our municipal water system. If you’re a dedicated professional with the necessary credentials and a commitment to providing high-quality drinking water to the community, we’d love to hear from you!
Applicants must have a current Delaware Drinking Water Operator License to operate, maintain, and monitor the town’s water treatment and distribution systems. The Town of Milton offers a competitive salary range of $48,718.20 to $64,843.93, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision benefits; a retirement plan and paid time off; and professional development opportunities.

PERMIT TECHNICIAN
The Town of Milton is currently seeking applications for the Permit Technician position.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position, and the selected candidate will serve in the Planning and Code Department for processing building permits, business licenses, and rental licenses.
Interested applicants are encouraged to review the full position requirements and qualifications prior to applying. The Town of Milton offers a competitive salary starting at $48,718.00, along with a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, life, and vision insurance, as well as participation in the State of Delaware-County/Municipal pension plan. Additional benefits include paid holidays, and after the successful completion of the probationary period, employees are entitled to three (3) weeks of vacation time and sick leave annually.

The event will also be a canned food drive and fundraiser for the Milton Food Pantry, and attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods for donation. All proceeds from pumpkin patch sales—in addition to a separate donation from Convergence—will also be donated to the Milton Food Pantry.
The Granary Fall Amenity Groundbreaking will include:
• Food and drinks
• Yard games
• Fire pit with s’mores
• Canned food drive
• A pumpkin patch
• Three model homes for touring (two models by DRB Homes and one model by D.R. Horton)
Come celebrate the start of Fall with the developer and homebuilders involved in The Granary, get an up-close look at Phase One of the neighborhood, and learn about what makes the community special.

Town of Milton Opens New Public Parking Lot at Union Street and Magnolia Street
A Memorial Day Service will be held at 11 am on Monday, May 25th, at Milton Memorial Park on Chandler Street
Beginning Tuesday, May 26, the Chandler Street Water Tower will undergo exterior washing and painting. This routine maintenance is necessary and it also marks the final phase of improvements and rehabilitation at the Chandler Street Water Treatment Plant and Water Tower site.
Please use caution when traveling near the area, as crews will be actively working.
