Together with the Milton Fire Department and VFW Post6984, the Town of Milton will host a solemn and respectful 9/11 Memorial Event on Friday, September 11 at 1:00 p.m. to honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroic first responders who answered the call on September 11, 2001.

The ceremony will take place at Milton Memorial Park (rain location Milton Fire Department), where community members, local officials, and guests are invited to gather in remembrance and reflection. The program will include brief remarks, a moment of silence, and recognition of the enduring impact the events of 9/11 have had on the nation and its communities.

“The Town of Milton remains committed to ensuring that the memory of September 11 is honored with dignity and respect,” said Town Manager Kristy Rogers. “This annual observance provides our community an opportunity to come together, reflect, and pay tribute to the strength and resilience shown on that day.”

Residents and visitors are encouraged to attend and participate in this meaningful commemoration.
